What services do you offer?

Individual, Couples, and Family sessions are available. We also offer Grief Support groups and Spiritual Growth Support groups as well.

What is an initial consult?

The initial consult is a call between you and the potential counselor to discuss what is bringing you to counseling.

Typically, how long and how often are sessions?
Sessions are between 45-60 minutes.

How long will I be in counseling?

As Pastoral Coach/Counselors, our goal is to help our clients discover the root of the concern bringing them in for assistance, as well as the spiritual component. We work hard to assist a client through their struggle within a 6-8 week timeframe. If we believe the concern bringing you in needs more time to work through, we will discuss this with you around week 4. We have a 4 session minimum for individual, family, and couples sessions. This is because we know that true work can't be done by coming in 1 or 2 times. We spend time going over who we are and our practice style in during the initial consult and the temperament analysis. This is the perfect time to ascertain if we are the right fit for a client.

Although it isn't our goal to keep you in an endless loop of coaching/counseling, all of our clients are encouraged to come back for maintenance from time to time.

Why should I consider seeing a Pastoral counselor?

Our circle of influence, while a support, aren't always able to be objective or neutral. Often times, they are too close to you and the situation you need to work through.  Pastoral coaches/counselors are objective and are not connected to the situation you'd like to work through, which allows you to speak freely and without judgement, and to get the help you need to process through a concern.  Our Pastoral Coaches/Counselors, similar to traditional counselors, have the education, training, and skills to help you ascertain and meet your needs and goals. The differences are that traditional counselors are Licensed through the state they practice in. Pastoral Coaches/Counselors, within this practice are Licensed and govern by the National Christian Counselors Association.

We will notify you when we are accepting these forms of payment. *

Do you accept insurance?
As Pastoral Counselors, we are unable to bill insurance because we do not diagnose clients with mental health disorders/mental illness. This prevents us from billing insurance, as we would not have a mental health diagnoses code to use to bill. At your request, our counselors can provide you with documentation for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. We can not guarantee you will be reimbursed.

Late/Cancellation Policy:

If you are 20 minutes late for your appointment, you will be asked to reschedule. (An appointment will be rescheduled once as a courtesy due to being 20 minutes late.) Any additional rescheduling as a result of being late, will result in forfeiture of the fee that was paid for the original appointment. If a client has 3 late appointments, they will be dismissed from the practice. Cancellation: Please cancel all appointments within 24 hours of the start time of your scheduled appointment. Appointments cancelled outside of the 24-hour window will result in a forfeiture of the fee paid for the appointment. (One courtesy rescheduling will be offered for true emergencies.) No call, no shows (outside of a true emergency) will result in dismissal from the practice.

Refund:

Sessions that have been cancelled within the terms of our late/cancellation policy timeframe can be refunded upon request.
